Gjirokaster
On our last day in Albania and close to Greek border we've stopped to visit Gjirokaster- world heritage site. Parked Rocco far away from chaos on the public parking and climbed up. The castle is the most known attraction so we followed the crowd. Let's say that the most interesting part of the castle was the open space theatre. Guess 4 Euros for just seeing empty hollow rock corridors without even one free exhibition felt like cheating a bit. Come on Albania! Instead of staying in the centre we've opted to celebrate our last day in the restaurant outside the city. They were very nice and let us stay overnight on the parking lot. Overall I feel like I have mixed feelings about Albania. My travel experience comes obviously from camper point of view.
