Back in Greece
So we're back in Greece! We passed Kakavia border crossing ( quite quick as they only check your passport and your vehicle registration card)and found a great stop in Vikos Aoos National Park. It is a part of Pindus mountain range where we have been at the beginning of our Greek holiday ( see the post about Kipoi).But this time we're on the opposite side. We stopped close to the Voivodatis river. This piece of the river is very popular for rafting and it has a nice 3 km walk along it. The sun was 🌟 and in total we did 12 km trekking with ups and downs so our legs are killing us🤣. The water was transparent and look at the colour, shame it wasn't hot enough for a dip. We stayed for 2 nights and it was so peaceful to sleep with an undertone of flowing river. Tomorrow next destination Chalkidiki peninsula, as we never been to this part of Greece.
