Sardegna's free thermal baths
We briefly stopped at Fordongianus therms which are quite well known in Sardegna. There is a small public bath by payment but most of the visitors take a bath directly in the river where small pools are divided by stones. You can also visit the old Roman therms situated next to the river. We only had a walk and decided to move on because it was extremely busy with campers and we prefer quieter atmosphere. The next one -jackpot!! San Saturnino therms. Tiny place near Benetutti Town. There are proper therms where by payment you can get treatments. In the fields not far away you can find 2 small rock tubs,big enough for 2 people that are free of charge but also quite busy. We met a lovely person Mario that showed us the other tub where mostly locals go. Everyone was very disciplined stayed in a queue and respect the 15 minute rule. Mario gave us an insight on the zone.
