Night ferry

We arrived at Piraeus port of Athens early afternoon. Our ferry was leaving at 9 pm. The weather was awful,so didn't even try to go sightseeing.2 hours before the schedule went to ask again about the terminal number and yes we were at the right number ( as they told us at check in)but no one said that there is also a  back terminal under the same number. All along a bit confusing, without any signage. Guess you should always do it an old way and ask to be sure πŸ˜ƒ Don't think Greeks are best known for their organisation skills?πŸ€”

This time it was a night ferry and as we are experienced ferry hoppers, a sleeping bag is a mustπŸ˜‰. We normally as most of the people do, sleep on the sofas in bar and lounge areas. They let you lay down after the restaurant closure. It's not as comfy as your bed but hey it's still better than sleeping in a chair.
9 hours later and Crete welcomed us with ☀️ and views of its snowy mountains in the background!

Franco instead welcomed Crete with traditional greek dish insalata con burrata ( a creamy, buttery, melting in your mouth mozzarella, that we brought from Puglia).🀣
We've met this little fellow on the road, see if you can spot him on the picture! a hint- he can fly.
