TIME FOR A CHANGE

This is our last night in Turkiye. We've crossed the Canakkale bridge ( quite expensive 16€ for 600 m)
 and tomorrow go to Greece. We have been here for 1,5 month so we're ready for a country change. In our last 2 weeks on the Mediterranean coast we:
* Explored lot of different spots- from mass tourism to small bays that were ours for a day- September is a great month to visit- less tourists 
 *Felt the weather change - now up north ,close to Canakkale it's 20°C day max and in the evening it's time for a cosy blanket and cay 🙂 ( tea in Turkish). Franco tried fishing today but he got out pretty quickly - the water temperature dropped to 19°C
* Experienced Turkish hospitality which we thank Mehmet for - he gave us a good insight information and even gave us his olives !
 We really looking forward going to Greece though so we can pay less for a beer( 2€ per can in Turkiye) and eat some pork! 🐷😀

From mountains to the sea

Yesterday we've celebrated San Valentine's day (although we celebrate it every day😛🙂). We've decided it would be a good excuse to open the special bottle we've got earlier: Amarone della Valpolicella Since everyone says it's a special wine that's not very cheap, and Franco and I never tried it, we were very excited to taste it. Hmm🤔It was good but no fireworks, maybe we should have done that sommelier course🤣 Than we found this lovely, quiet spot for the evening( still in Parco della Maiella). And this morning we woke up to this beautiful sunrise: Now, we're on our way to Puglia, to visit our friends and take the ferry to Greece. We're staying on SS16 coastal route and hopefully arrive in Melendugno on Saturday. For tonight ,we stopped at the sea in  Parco del Gargano, close to Lago di Varano.

Last weekend at home!

Last weekend at home! June has gone so fast!We've been busy working a bit, visiting friends and family and running various errands. Franco got busy in the forest  and me in the kitchen 😉. We have celebrated Marisa's ( "Franco's second mum" - his best friend mum)89th birthday, so we used the occassion to invite everyone for a piece of cake as a leaving party. And guess what? We're off again! This time destination North. We're going home to Poland, visiting Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia on the way and for a grand finale taking a ferry to Sweden. So lots of new adventures to be lived. Will keep you posted!  By the way we also have an Instagram account now RollingRocco1 so be sure to follow us!
